I keep finding the BEST music on my pandora stations lately!  Goodness, I don't know what I'm going to do.  haha.  OH HEY GUESS WHAT!!!!!!

I FOUND MY ZUNE LAST NIGHT!!!! XD
That's exciting, in case you weren't sure.  It's been lost for like, 5 months.  I found it one night and then I lost it again a couple months ago, but I haven't a clue how, and I just found it again.  I'm freakin' pumped.  So yeah. hahaha

Anyway.  I have NO idea what I'm "supposed" to be talking about right now, soooo maybe I'd better check. haha.  ROCKIN'!!  Album art day!

This is the album that my mom stopped buying me Britney Spears music when I was little... It was really kinda depressing... I was sad. )=  And actually, I was really mad at her, haha.  Damn you, Britney!

The Used's new album is really good, and I think that the album art is interesting, but I don't really like it.  I mean, there's SO MUCH that they could've done for an album called "Artwork" but they went... with that... I mean, it's okay.... But... I personally think they could've done better.

By the way, I'm totally clueless right now, so I just googled "Album art" and am picking from whatever it decides to give me.  How original, right? hahahaha  It still works though!

This totally gave me the WRONG idea about this album.  I was just a tad hesitant.  I don't know, it just looks...... I don't even know... Star Warsy.  It does!  Not that that means anything.  This is where the Don't-judge-a-CD-by-its-cover business comes in.  So yeah...

Kay, that's all I've got.  I'm done.

Until next time, with love,

It's 2010, yo!

Dude.  I've got 3 semesters until I'm done with high school.  How freakin insane is that?  (It's pretty insane, in case you're unsure.)  I'm getting so old!!!  Gah!!  It's okay.  I'm pretty excited for college, really.

Remind me to go post something in my other blog.  It's important.  Thanks, I knew I could count on you.

Sooooooooo... Friday.... Oh, Friday is "do whatever" day isn't it?  Well, since I missed my album cover day, I'ma do that.  At least at first.  Cause I can.  So there.

Vanessa Hudgens--Identified.
Why would she do this to herself?  Like, seriously!  She's so pretty and this album cover makes her look awful!  I mean, she looks washed out and like... on drugs or something...  A bit on the slow side--if you know what I mean.  Her eyes are empty, her mouth is... weird....and her hair's a mess.  It's not pretty.  I do not get it.  I don't get it at all.  Another pretty girl portraying herself terribly.  *le sigh*

I mean, seriously! She's pretty!
Next album iiiiiiiiss...
Ke$ha--Animal
Kay, so just gonna start by saying the album is amazing.  Love it all.
Anyway. Album cover.  Right.
I really like the effect that she gave it, ya know?  Like, I love that it's black and white but her lips are gold and her name and album title are totally glitter-fied.  It's so... fun!  And Ke$ha's all about fun, so I really think this album cover represents her and her music well. It's fun to look at, it's cool, and it's real.  And I think Ke$ha herself is absolutely gorgeous.  She has a really, really nice face.  Not gonna lie, if I were a guy (or a lesbian) I'd totally want her.  I'm not and I think she's hot!  haha.  Go Ke$ha.  Two thumbs up.

Saosin--Saosin
I don't get it.  I totally DO NOT get it.  I know I listened to a... a.... um... ohhhh what's it called?  OH! A webcast!  with you guys about this album and I know you guys talked about it and all, but like, I seriously... What's the point of having an album cover/artwork or whatever that has absolutely nothing to do with anything?  It's a... what'd they say? War beetle or somethign?  Saosin's first album isn't about war, at least not as far as I can tell.  I mean, I really love this band and everything, but their album art just doesn't make sense to me.  Oh well.  Can't always have everything.

Circa Survive--On Letting Go
Once again, starting with saying it's a great album.  Now that that's out of the way--
I really do like this album art.  It's colorful, bright, and it's... mysterious.  Like, it's intriguing to me.  I could sit and stare at it for long periods of time and make personal discoveries about it, or myself, or about life in general just by observations made here and the application of my philosophical tendencies.  I really like it.  It makes sense--in a detached, slightly ambiguous kind of way--and it's pretty!  I don't know... but I like that the girl's head is fire to keep the balloon up.

Weeeeeell I ran out of class period, so I'm going to end this here, okay?  Great, thanks.  Sounds good.  I'm so glad you agree.  (=

Until next time, with love,

So I can't really remember what Tuesday--oh yeah.  Celebrity day... oofta...  How about not?

New Tuesday topic!

I'm going to do random album art reviews.  Not the album, just the artwork.  Hahaha.  Well, more like just the cover.  For example:

I don't get it.  I mean, really.  Like, is that supposed to be attractive?  Check out those freakin lips!

I don't really know anything about her music at all.  I don't think I've ever really listened to her.  But she's a rapper, so I really don't care.  I'm not into that style...or that look.

Oh, PS--nice mole.  (Not that she can necessarily help it, but it kinda looks dumb to be SO exaggerated. Anyway.)

And as for Thriving Ivory's album, the artwork is the only reason I picked it up.  It looked really interesting, so I went with it.  Besides, it was only like, $10 at Target.  It was a band that initially I was like "are you kidding me?" but they grew on me really fast.  (=

Oh, and a couple of them are pretty cute.  They're pictured on the back of the disk.  That helped a little. haha

Jeffree Star, I love you, but for an album called Beauty Killer, you really could've done a lot more, you know what I'm saying?  Yeah.  Exactly.
I mean, don't get me wrong, Aubrey Hepburn peeking from behind a seriously-fake bloody hand is pretty hot, and your hair and makeup are flawless as always.
But I just feel like there was more you could have done.  Sorry.  I was vaguely disappointed.  I was actually hoping that the cover you used for your Prisoner single for this, but you didn't.  Ah well.  The album is amazing, just like you.  And the cover is pretty cool, not gonna lie.

Mika is so adorable, and his music is upbeat and super poppy and energetic and rockin... and his album art just screams that to the world, doesn't it?  I get a super-happy vibe from this album art.  And I rather adore him.  So there we are!

I am running out of time in my English class, but I'll do one more.

Sooooo... I don't know.  Maybe it's just me, but my favorite German boy band isn't anywhere near as boy-bandy as they used to be, and I'm very good with that. In fact, I prefer it.  I was personally beginning to get really sick of Scream, just saying.  And the cover of this thing is just... bizarro.  Doesn't say boy band at all does it?  Haha, I knew instantly upon looking at it that it was Bill, though.  =P  Hottie...  Even though he is semi-androgynous, I still think he's really hawt.  Don't ask me why, because I couldn't say.

But the album art is interesting. Definitely.  Good job, guys.
